CAN WE PUT "MERRY CHRISTMAS" ON HOLIDAY CARDS?

Yes.  But if possible, we encourage using “Happy Holiday” or make a few extra cards to say “Happy Holiday” as not all the patients & their family celebrate Christmas.  It also helps make it easier for the staff to distribute out the cards.

FRONT OF CARD: DO I NEED TO INCLUDE A SENTIMENT?

Yes.  All cards need a sentiment (writing) on the front.  But please keep inside blank.

INSIDE OF CARD: SHOULD I INCLUDE A MESSAGE OR SIGN MY NAME?

If the cards are made by a child, please have the child’s sign the inside with his/her first name, city and age.  Example: Love, Sofia from Ohio, age 4.

If cards made by an adult, please leave inside blank.  The staff will be writing a personal message to each child before signing.

If using dark colored paper card base, do please adhere a white or light color piece of paper to the inside to make it easier for patients to read the message from the staff.

You may include just your name (hand written, stamped or computer print) or your name + “Cards for Little Heart Card Drive” on the back of the cards.
