FAQ: CARD GUIDELINES
WHAT SIZE CARD SHOULD I MAKE?
Please stick to the standard A2 (4-1/4″x5-1/2″) size, 5″x7″ and for square cards 5″x5″ size. Each card gets pack individually in clear bags before boxed up for delivery and these bags only fit the sizes just mentioned.
CAN WE PUT "MERRY CHRISTMAS" ON HOLIDAY CARDS?
Yes. But if possible, we encourage using “Happy Holiday” or make a few extra cards to say “Happy Holiday” as not all the patients & their family celebrate Christmas. It also helps make it so much easier for the staff to distribute out the cards.
FRONT OF CARD: DO I NEED TO INCLUDE A SENTIMENT?
We prefer all cards have a sentiment on the front. But please keep inside blank.
INSIDE OF CARD: SHOULD I INCLUDE A MESSAGE OR SIGN MY NAME?
It’s depend on WHO is making the card.
- Card made by a child – have the child’s sign the inside with his/her first name, city and age. Example: Love, Sofia from Ohio, age 4.
- Card made by an adult – leave inside blank. The staff will be writing a personal message to each child before signing.
If using dark colored paper card base, do please adhere a white or light color piece of paper to the inside to make it easier for patients to read the message from the staff.
BACK OF CARD: CAN I INCLUDE A LABEL WITH MY NAME & INFO?
Yes you may. However, hospital staff can only distribute cards with just your full name. Please do not include any other personal (as well business) information such as email, mailing address or phone number.
If you like, you may also download our card labels and adhere them to your cards along with your name.
ARE GLITTERS & EMBELLISHMENTS OKAY?
Yes. But do avoid using anything that might come loose and become a choking hazard for the children such as buttons, sequins, rhinestones or brads.

A RULE OF THUMB: If it does not rub off/come loose, it is okay to use.
